Orly Star, born Orly Setareh began exploring the arts at a young age by attending art and ballet classes. Constantly fascinated by colors and movement, she continued her classical training in dance and oil-painting while developing a new addiction: "Fashion"! While trying to emulate the styles of designers and celebrities, but always adding her own "edge", Star began to take fashion courses in 2002 to further feed her addiction. Using her well-developed artistic ability and colorful sense of life, Star began sketching her own designs and launched her new Los Angeles based line of clothing in 2004, appropriately named Adiqshun by Orly Star.   The Adiqshun clothing line currently consists of shirts and tank tops with contradictory remarks as well as sassy statements on the front and back. Star describes her line as "Classic complimented by Edge"; hence the intentional misspelling of the word Adiqshun. In a funfilled way, these shirts and tanks represent people's addiction to things such as love, sex, money and power.   Due to the instant success and continual positive feedback of the Adiqshun tank top line, Orly Star has decided to come out with a men’s line and a unisex line, referred to as “the Adiqted” line. The Adiqted line helps you rock your addiction. The men’s line includes t-shirts for the confident man who isn’t afraid to express his masculinity- no woman can resist a man with a hot sense of humor!  Star recently decided to use her creativity in making witty statements to reconnect humanity to the environment. She is currently working on an “Ecofriendly” line, printed on 100% organic cotton tees, to raise one’s level of consciousness towards saving our environment and sustaining a safer world. A portion of all proceeds of her Ecofriendly line will be donated to Global Green USA, a national environment organization that addresses combating climate change, neutralizing weapons of mass destruction and promoting access to clean water. Her new “Ethics” line is another vehicle in reminding people of the values they must uphold to live a healthier, more productive life. Never one to forget those who are less fortunate, Orly Star’s company has donated to the “Breast Cancer Research Foundation”. This foundation’s mission is to achieve prevention and a cure for Cancer. Star uses pink satin ribbons for her labels as a reminder for Cancer awareness. ARMDI is another foundation that ADIQSHUN has donated to. This is an organization that helps raise money to buy ambulances for Israel. Recently, Orly Star has designed a special “Team Israel” shirt to help raise money for the terror victims in Israel. A portion of all sales of this t-shirt will be donated to the Israel Crisis Fund. This is an organization that was established to help meet the immediate humanitarian needs of vulnerable children, elderly and the disabled in Israel .Star has also helped sponsor "Clothes the Deal". A charity helping low income families acquire appropriate attire for the workforce.  Adiqshun has developed a loyal following of “adiqts” including many of Hollywood’s hottest stars such a Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Kristin Cavallari, Tara Reid, Christina Milian, and Kelly Hu.   It’s only a matter of time that you too become ADIQTED!
